Custom order terms

Thank you for choosing Ame Rain Designs LLC for your custom order needs. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Please take a moment to review our terms and conditions for custom orders to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS IN FULL

  • Please review your invoice, the date, the details- size, design theme/style, and any attachments including mock ups and inspiration photos. These details note the final decision made between Ame Rain Designs, LLC and customer for the order.
  • If, for any reason, you do not agree to any of the details noted in the invoice prior to payment, you are welcome to decline the order by sending an email to mayra@ameraindesigns.com.
  • Orders cancelled after payment has been made are subject to the terms below.
  • Your payment serves as a signature & agreement to these terms.

Payment

Full payment is required for all custom orders before production can begin. We accept various payment methods, including all major cards, Shop pay, and PayPal. Once payment is received, we will initiate the customization process according to your specifications. Orders will not be confirmed & added to Ame Rain Designs, LLC production list & calendar until the order is paid in full in order to allow all interested customers a chance to book. The processing time (also known as Turn around time) given to you begins from the moment you submit full payment. 

 

Rush Orders

Rush orders automatically acquire a $35 rush fee in addition to the invoice amount. This fee covers priority shipping charges and the designer’s time. 
You order request will be withheld or cancelled & your date may become unavailable in the event full payment is not received within 48 hours of invoice being sent.
You will be subject to a $30 late fee for orders over $100 if invoice is paid after 48 hours. Failure to pay all fees and invoices in full will be subject to cancellation.
Ame Rain Designs LLC reserves the right to cancel a rush order If the customer's requested "need by" date is impossible to achieve.

Retainer

No retainers or deposits are required. This means that clients are expected to make the entire payment upfront to secure their booking. This approach can streamline the process, ensuring that both parties are committed to the agreement from the outset.

Customer Requested Cancellation, Postponed, or Rescheduled Orders

If you wish to cancel your custom order, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 12 hours of placing the order will receive a full refund, including the retainer fee. However, if the cancellation request is made after 12 hours, the retainer fee will not be refunded.

In the event that you need to postpone, or reschedule your order & Ame Rain Designs, LLC. is notified at least one (1) week in advance, we will honor your full payment made as a credit up to 6 months. 
  • Postpone: to put off an event with date unknown.
  • Reschedule: to schedule again with a new date.
  • You are welcome to use your credit for any order placed within 6 months of invoice sent. Rescheduling is subject to Ame Rain Designs, LLC calendar & availability.
  • Please note that once production has begun on your custom order, cancellations of any kind are no longer possible. We strive to start production promptly to ensure timely delivery, so it is important to communicate any changes or cancellations as early as possible.

Order cancellation 

At Ame Rain Designs, we strive to provide our customers with exceptional service and timely delivery of their custom orders. However, there are certain circumstances in which we may need to cancel a custom order. Please read our custom order cancellation policy carefully to understand the conditions under which we may cancel your order.

  • 1. Impossible "Need By" Date:

    If the customer's requested "need by" date is impossible to achieve, we reserve the right to cancel the custom order. We understand that our customers may have specific deadlines or events for which they require their custom order. However, due to production constraints or other unforeseen circumstances, it may not be feasible for us to meet the requested delivery date. In such cases, we will promptly notify the customer and cancel the order.

    2. Non-Payment of Invoice:

    Customers are required to pay the invoice for their custom order within 10 business days of receiving it. Not including rush orders, please review rush order guidelines above.  Failure to make payment within this timeframe may result in the cancellation of the order. We understand that circumstances may arise that prevent immediate payment, but it is essential for us to receive timely payment to proceed with the production of custom orders. If the invoice remains unpaid after the specified period, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

    Notification and Refunds:

    In the event that we need to cancel a custom order, we will notify the customer promptly via email. We understand that this may be disappointing for the customer, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Any payments made towards the canceled order will be refunded in full to the original payment method within 14 business days.

    Changes to Custom Orders

    If you need to make changes to your custom order, such as modifying the design or adding additional customization options, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your request so long as the item has not been created.  Please note that changes such as colors, paints, size, and material changes, will result in a $15 fee per item changed, and could impact the production timeline. Changes are not accepted on rush orders. Your order & the requested changes will be placed on hold until fees have been paid.

    Quality Assurance

    At Ame Rain Designs LLC, we take pride in the quality of our custom products. We carefully inspect each item before it is shipped to ensure it meets our high standards. However, please keep in mind that due to the nature of handmade and customized items, minor variations may occur. These variations should not be considered defects but rather unique characteristics that add to the charm and individuality of your custom order.

  •  Disclaimer

    • Not all of Ame Rain Designs, LLC products are food safe. Some acrylic patterns and styles are printed resulting in a slight possibility of releasing ink. Some acrylic items are sealed with resin, also not food safe. It is your responsibility to notify Ame Rain Designs, LLC of the products’ intended use when submitting the order request.
    • Dependent upon the design, your order may contain non-toxic items such as paint, and sealer. These products are used for enhancing decoration only.
    • Wooden cake toppers are made food safe with a walnut based sealing wax. It is your responsibility to ensure your guests do not have a nut allergy. In the event that they do, wooden cake toppers are not for you. Please contact mayra@ameraindesigns.com for assistance in finding alternative options for your desired product.
    • Regular Wooden items-not for cakes- are sealed with a top coat that is safe to touch/handle. It is not food safe. It is your responsibility to notify Ame Rain Designs, LLC of the products’ intended use when submitting the order request.
    • You are responsible for following the product care guidelines/instructions provided upon receipt of your order

    Packaging & Care

    Care

    • Ame Rain Designs, LLC. will provide you with care instructions for your items.
    • Ame Rain Designs, LLC. is not responsible for any damages to your order after it has been picked up.
    • For deliveries please contact mayra@ameraindesigns.com if item does not arrive intact within 24 hours of receiving it.
    • For shipped items, please contact mayra@ameraindesigns.com if item does not arrive intact within 14 days. Images are required when submitting a claim.

    Packaging

    • Your order will always be packaged appropriately and secured for travel. We use a variety of materials to secure your order such as: recycled cardboard, tissue paper, crinkle paper, styrofoam products, various types of tape and more. If your order has a fragile sticker, it is best to place your order on a flat surface, do not shake, do not toss, keep upright, leave it in its packaging until it is time to use it.

    Liability & Changes

    • Ame Rain Designs, LLC. is not liable for any damage that may arise related to your products once your order has been picked up. Review the care section for the appropriate timeframe to submit a damaged product claim.
    • It is your responsibility to thoroughly review all details of your order prior to payment. If Ame Rain Designs, LLC. is not notified of any changes to be made prior to submitting final payment, we will assume your agreement and move forward with fulfilling the order according to the invoice details.
    • Ame Rain Designs LLC is not responsible for shipping delays with shipping providers such as USPS & UPS. Once item is shipped, a tracking number will be provided. Items lost in transit must be reported immediately to file a claim with the shipping provider. 
    • On average custom orders (not rush) take 2 weeks, if Ame Rain Designs accepted your order based on your event date we will go above and beyond to fulfill your order and pay additional shipping to arrive in a timely manner. Please consider ordering in advance to account for shipping delays, damaged packages in transit and other unknown factors. 

    INEDIBLE DECOR

    Size, quantity, and Decor

    • You are responsible for providing the correct desired size in width in inches.
    • You are responsible for providing the correct desired product quantity.
    • None of the listed items, including cake toppers and other cake accessories are considered edible decor. Food safe does not mean edible. They are to be removed from your desserts prior to consumption. You acknowledge that these are not food products and hold the responsibility of notifying your guests/consumers.
